Meredith's 3 Picks - May 21,2024

Happy Tuesday :)

Welcome to a new edition of my 3 Picks newsletter where I share my favorite things for the week. I love finding (or re-discovering) new tools and resources and sharing them with you. This week, my three picks are all resources you can pick up at the Spring Forward for Business Growth giveaway for no cost. Sometimes you might question if you get what you pay for with free giveaways - but I've really been enjoying going through everything on offer... good stuff!

Here's what I'm recommending this week:

Learn Email from A Master...

Ellen Finkelstein is an amazing teacher and a great e-mail marketer. For her giveaway, she's included 10 Techniques for Better Results for Your Emails. I've been working with email for the past decade and I learned a few things. Also, this freebie is a great format and easy to copy if you are looking for a high-value (but low-effort) giveaway.

Are Your Blog Posts Doing Their Job?

Are your blog posts bringing traffic to your website? My guess is that unless you are intentional about optimizing your posts for search engines (SEO), you are not getting much traction. I have to admit that I am not an SEO wizard. Shannah Holt's 5 Step process for getting the most traffic from my posts has been really helpful. You can grab it here.

Why Should They Buy From You?...

We added our popular "Why Me? Building Know, Like & Trust" Planner to the giveaway. A lot of you have this already, but if you don't - the planner walks you through a 30 day plan to create know, like and trust in your business. You can grab it here.

Let me know which goodies you grab from the giveaway.

Have a great week,

Meredith

Hi there Reader, Do you do birthday goal setting? My birthday was yesterday. I had a chance to hang out a bit with my husband and dogs up on the mountains. While there, I took a bit of time to work on my goals for next year. (Yes, it's pretty convenient that my birthday is pretty much at the half-way point for the calendar year...).The most frustrating part of goal setting for me is when your goals stay the same year after year. I have had "lose weight" as a goal at least 90% of the lifetime....
